I don't like the new Google maps. It updated itself and I find it less usable than the old map function. Can you tell me if and how I can get the old version?

Google maps updated itself without my consent or knowledge. Now I have the new Google version of Google maps and I don't like it. It doesn't have the same functions as the old version. Can I get the old version of Google maps back on Firefox?
