when I updated foxfire it deleted all my bookmarks, why did it do this? some of them i cannot get back
I had a lot of bookmarks and when I updated foxfire it deleted them all plus I now have a lot of pop-ups. What happened? Do I need to delete foxfire and then re-enter it?

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
