Error 404: resource not found on youtube. works on IE not firefox?

This is not the 'Aginx' thing i've seen alot of. In IE youtube works perfectly. In firefix it throws the above error (screenshot)

please also check that firefox is set to directly connect to the internet. in firefox > options > advanced > network > connection - settings... choose "no proxy".
also make sure that firefox isn't blocked or sandboxed by your firewall.

Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Thankyou madperson! the 'no proxy' option worked like a charm! Don't know why it had Auto proxy selected.....
