How can I recover data from a form that I accidentally navigated away from?

I have Firefox 3.6.27. I spent a couple hours filling out an application form. Got excited about looking up data for the form, and navigated to another page without opening a new tab. I went back, and the data is all gone.

Is there a way to get that data back? Or do I need to fill it out again?

This is a good Firefox extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/ which should help in future cases.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover that information. In the future you can use the addon posted above, but it does seem that all that form data is gone in this case :(
