Can someone please help with constant crashes ?
I've had a tremendous issue with crashes for the last 2 to 3 weeks. I tried all of the suggested steps with no change. I send the report every single time and no response. Is there anywhere else I can send some of the report id's to and have someone look at them to see if they can narrow down my issue. Usually it happens if I leave the browser open and step away for 5 minutes, when I come back it crashed. Usually Facebook is open, Words With Friends, Pogo...But it doesn't have to be these 3 that I have noticed. This morning it wouldn't even open at all, went straight to crash. It will also crash randomly when I'm using it as well. I have well over 50 crash reports dating from 1-5-2012 which is when it started to become frequent. Anyone that can, please advise ?????????

Hey joekay,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.
Since you mentioned Facebook, you might want to look at the article Fix problems with Facebook games, chat and more as well.

Thanks Matt, I did run through the whole safe mode and extension path with no real changes. I have very few extensions/plug-ins enabled and I use a real basic theme. In reading the Facebook article, I'm not really having those specific issues but it does seem to be the common denominator. That or Words with Friends. Not sure if it's related but my flash player has been crashing occasionally as well. I clean my caches including browser, java, and flash once a week with ccleaner. I run Spybot and Malware Bytes once a week also so I'm pretty sure the system's clean.

You have already posted some CrashIDs, my suggestion is to try Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode using only the default theme and with all plugins disabled.
If you continue to get crashes (it appears from your earlier comments that you will) then paste two or three of those Crash IDs into your next message.
Yes I am still experiencing crashes. Here are some chrash ID's from the time when it seemed to start getting more frequent. I will include 6 of them. Thanks. Actually I'll include a jpeg screenshot of a bunch of them.
The Crash IDs as text are preferable to a screenshot.
It appears you are on the Beta channel but are still on version 10. The ordinary release channel itself is now on 10.0.2. Version 10 was crashing and had security issues that was why releases10.0.1 and 10.0.2 were released. I suggest you update to the latest release version from

A clean install of the latest release is probably a good idea, you can always go back to the beta channel later. I used the latest crash IDs from the screenshot but they were from January and show version 10 from the beta channel.

do NOT use any Windows or Firefox option to delete personal settings, because that will destroy passwords, bookmarks and other settings.
I reverted back to 10.2. So far not anywhere near as chronic but had a couple of crashes since reinstall.

I was really thinking it's Word With Friends but 2 of these three happened while playing Pogo only and my online banking only. What specific items does one look for in the crash reports? Is there anything that I can keep an eye on to help me narrow down the cause?

The main thing you can do (as a troubleshooting step) is return to something similar to the clean install and try
- use safe mode (no need to make changes in first Window just click on continue.)
- use only the default theme
- whilst in safe mode also disable all plugins.
Obviously not all others experience similar crashes to yours. One possibility to try to rule out is that the crashes are due to malware.

It's a possibility but unlikely. I run Spybot, and Malwarebytes once a week now as well as CCleaner to keep temp files and cookies to a minimum. Also run Hijack this occasionally but I can usually recognize a browser hijacker. Do you have a malware removal tool that you have had success with other than malwarebytes?
