In the Library page of all bookmarks, when you search the bookmarks, the returned list does not contain folder info. When I discover dead links, I would like to go to that bookmark's folder to see if there are any more stale bookmarks therein. I guess more people use tags than folders and subfolders to sort their bookmarks? For example, under Science, I have astronomy, physics, etc.

Install the "Show Parent Folder" and the "Go Parent Folder" (also useful) extensions for what you want, you really want to read the knowledge base article though.

Sorting and rearranging bookmarks - Firefox (and working with bookmarks)

For information on the extensions that I use, see
