Buttons do not work on Firefox
Hi everyone:
With the new Firefox 5, CSS-driven buttons on forms no longer work.
At Rightster, there is a ‘copy code’ button, which copies the code from a text box above it. Even though I get a ‘code copied successfully’, it hasn’t made it on to my Windows clipboard.
While that button is a members-only one, there’s a public one here on its feedback form:
‘Send message’ does not work.
I don’t suggest troubling the folks at Rightster to test it, but perhaps going through the code, you might find there’s a glitch somewhere—either their end or in the browser.
Kind regards,
Jack

Actually, I filled and submitted the contact form and got "Thank you for contacting Rightster, we will get in contact with you shortly" . Whoops!
Regarding the "code copied" issue, that probably is different because JavaScript is restricted from accessing the clipboard. Did that button work for you in Firefox 3.6 or Firefox 4?
That’s interesting, Jefferson. The buttons had always worked prior (3.6 and 4), and I use Rightster a lot. Is there something I should tweak on my end post-update, in that case?
You could check Firefox's Error Console to see whether you are getting a permission error; that's the usual issue with the clipboard. I'm not aware of any changes in that area, but perhaps a permission setting got lost during the update.
Load the page you want to test, then
Press Ctrl+Shift+j (or use Tools menu > Error Console) to open the console
Click the Clear button, then return to your page and try the button that's not working.
Does any error show in the console?
Hi Jefferson: hmm, all is working again (and no errors). Wonder what happened before, in that case?
Will keep an eye on these buttons …
