How do I split-screen, 2: 1/2 screens, side-side; or 4: 1/4 screens?
I want to open either two separate apps (side by side, or top and bottom displays) in 1/2 screens or 4 distinctly different apps (in 1/4 screens) at one time AND have the ability to compare information OR transfer information back and forth between either the two open apps configuration or the four open apps configuration, WITHOUT having to constantly switch back and forth between one displayed app (in 1/2 OR 1/4 screen) to desired alternate full-screen app(s).
I'm running Vista 32 bit and FireFox 4

Right click a blank part of the Windows Taskbar and choose Tile Vertically, or Tile Horizontally (whichever you prefer).
To exit, choose "Undo Tile".
