In case there is a problem with the way your application list is sorted, try entering mail in the search box above the list. Does that help?

I already tried searching for mail, and mailto - the same list comes up. The list of applications seems to be more of what I have done with music and movies - there is a long list of times I used quick time, podcasts., and windows media. It does not look like apps at all to me.

Hmmm, it might be necessary to replace one of the files in your profile (mimeTypes.rdf) with a clean copy containing the default associations, but hopefully someone has a better suggestion.

What is your main mail program or main webmail site?
