i tried to download poker site to play on, but i get a message saying my internet is not connected. But it is. What could be the problem?

I have home BB and its saying that its not connected when my partner has tried to connect to a poker site.(Not the poker sites that have recently been closed,& been in the news the last few days, by the way. Mentioning no names, of coarse!) Is there some kind of setting that fire fox have? It works if internet explorer is used, for the same site? However internet access is connected with our mobile broardband (dongle).As we got fed up trying to down load. This is a high speed connection and a prime BB spot, where we live. I should add , this has all been attempted on the our laptop, that we connect using wireless home BB & have had no connecting/signal strength problems, & have had no other connection issues, with other sites, until this. This is the 1st time that we have tried a poker site on this BB connection & on the lap top too?Laptop is windows 7. Please can anyone shed some light on this irritating problem? looks like this is your network connection settings problem, you'd better only keep one network adaptor online and linked, if you do not understand how to setup windows routing, this is completely not firefox problem. buddy. wish you goodluck.
