Hotmail - Clicking on a message does not display contents - it just highlights/selects the text, i.e., links aren't clickable!

Clicking on links like e-mail messages, Inbox, Sent, Deleted folders doesn't navigate to the contents of that item, rather it just selects or highlights the text. In short links aren't clickable in the Hotmail account anymore. The seem to work fine in IE.
