I installed the latest version of Thunderbird. It can handle Google contacts without any add-ons, but it doesn't show me contact groups. Is there a way to display them? The CardBook I used before showed them.

It's a current limitation of the built-in CardDAV: labels (mailing lists) aren't supported. CardBook supports all versions of TB, but the label sync. with Google Contacts should be tested to confirm 2-way sync. is working.

sfhowes Thanks for the reply. Is there a plan for a future version to be able to sync contact groups? From a security perspective, I prefer Thunderbird without add-ons.
