I have downloaded Firefox from the App Store. Opened it using the icon on my iPad. Created an account to be able to get support. I need the video downloader BUT it keeps saying I need to download Firefox!??? I did. What am I missing?

If you are referring to Extensions. They are only available for (desktop) Firefox and for Firefox for Android.

(desktop) Firefox for Windows, macOS, Linux https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

Firefox for Android https://addons.mozilla.org/android/

Firefox on iOS is more of a shell due to Apple's restrictions though perhaps at some point you may be able to use iOS system extensions.

Hi

You can on Apple laptops and desktops using the desktop version of Firefox, but not for mobile (iPhone and iPad) versions of Firefox.

I did mention that extensions are for Firefox on Windows, Linux and macOS. The macOS is the OS you use on the Mac laptop and desktop.
