Having just upgraded my Debian 9 machine to Mint 20, this has updated my firefox browser.

Everything was going fine until I came across the problem where by all image downloads are saved as webp images, a format that my favourite image editing software cannot handle.

This is a bit of a pain and has made me start looking at alternative web browsers.

Just thought you should know how simple things can cause a loss of support.

Regards David

Thanks for the links

The add ons are great but not really what I want to do.

I've got over my initial annoyance and the attitude that said "thats the way the webworks"

If it tries to save it as a webp file I open it in a new tab then remove the "auto=webp&" from the url and it downloads it as jpeg etc.,

Not so sure why if the addons can sort out the webp why the mozilla developers can't - but there again I've never tackled a project that big.
