PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR for google, facebook, youtube...
Hi everyone,
on my Dell laptop I suddenly started getting a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR a few days ago when trying to access websites like google, facebook, youtube etc.
Other websites like ebay, amazon or tripadvisor work. The problem also occurs with Chrome and IE.
I have checked date and time, run all troubleshooting programs, restarted router and laptop, cleared cache and cookies and deactivated the windows defender firewall. I have no other security software installed.
Now I am all out of ideas. Can anyone help?

In case you decide to post a question on the Microsoft support forum :
Maybe give them a link to this thread - that way they'll know what you have already tried, and it will save both you and the contributor(s) there some time ....
Might be worth a try - nothing that's been suggested here so far has solved this mystery ......

Sounds like a good idea !
Earlier I even came close to suggest this :
I tried another laptop today and it worked perfectly, so at least I now know it's not the router...
