How do I define which window new tabs should open in?

I normally run two windows of Firefox (macOS 10.13.6, FF 62.0.3 (64-bit)). One as my "main" work window on a monitor and one for YouTube on my laptop screen. I normally start the day by opening up tabs on my monitor and then opening a new tab and dragging it into a new window and onto my laptop screen. The issue with this is that any link that is clicked or new tab that is opened opens on the YouTube window. I need to be able to set the window on my monitor as the "primary" so all new tabs open there. Is this possible?

New tabs will go into whatever 'window' is currently active/ last used.
