Any new email I compose and send, or any email I reply to, fails with the attached error message. This started happening yesterday afternoon. I have re-installed Thunderbird on my PC (Windows 10) without effect. I have installed Thunderbird on my laptop (not previously installed) and it is happening from there too. I can log in to my provider's webmail (Exetel) and send from there without issue. Exetel support say they are not blocking me. I have tried Googling the error message and have found nothing useful. I suspect it is the exetel SMTP server but I don't understand why.

You should talk to your email provider.

As I said in my original post, I have already contacted Exetel support and they say it is not them.

The message is from a server. Email providers have servers. They say what they need to to get you to go away. See how good it works.
