a "smart cards" site doesn't work because it has mixed content and Firefox thinks it's a threat, there is a way to disable permanently the blocking *only* on this specific site? a big plus if it doesn't include add-ons, thanks, -00_

Not permanently, no, there's no built-in setting for that.

Are you sure the site was meant to be used on an HTTPS connection? Some sites are only partially set up for HTTPS because they didn't really intend users to use HTTPS.

Have you mentioned this problem to the site? I think all browsers take a similar approach these days so presumably someone has mentioned it to them before and they have some suggestion. ??
