After sending several emails, they don't go to sent.

After I have been using Thunderbird for some time, emails won't go to 'Sent'. I've posted this problem before w/o being able to solve it. Important to note that problem only occurs AFTER I have been using Thunderbird for some time. ie For first few emails I send I have no problem in saving them in 'Sent'. Problem only occurs after some use. It appears that something is going in background and possibly blocking 'Sent" because once problem occurs little circle just goes around and nothing can go to 'Sent'. If I close Thunderbirdand come back some time later, problem has gone - but then reoccurs This has not been a problem in the past Thanks for your help.

If you start your computer in Safe more with networking does the problem go away?

Problem persists. It doesn't occur immediately I open emails but only after I have been working on emails for a few minutes. When it does occur if I wait for five minutes problem goes away, but then will reoccur again at a later time.

Starting a whole new thread for the same issue is not productive.

I appreciated your help but not being as competent as you with computers I tried many times without success to follow your instructions. As the problem remained unsolved I sought further help hoping that someone else might be able to assist. A little understanding ans patience for those who struggle with technology would be helpful.
