I like this calendar app and have recently transferred to Thunderbird and Lightning. I would like them to sync and add dates from emails.

I hadn't heard of Week Cal before but its web page says that it works with Google Calendar: that synchronises well with Lightning. I'm not sure about adding dates from emails, maybe someone else can help you with that.
