After migration to maildir TB(38.6.0) is crashing when appying message filters.

I changed to maildir, converting with mb2md.pl (invoked by script). The folder structure was imported well in the new profile, but TB crashes when receiving new mails. I think it is the message filters that move mails more than one.

What is the status of maildir? I thought the crashes after moving mails is solved.

I assume you've seen the warning at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/maildir-thunderbird Because of the incomplete state of maildir you are unlikely to receive much assistance here.

If you plan to use maildir you will want to follow the issues at http://mzl.la/1Ool4wn and comment there if needed and file new bugs. Note also that progress is somewhat stalled because of other priorities, and that bugzilla is not a "support" area.
