I've changed my gmail password yesterday, but since then it failed to login, and a message showed up asking me to go to: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754

I've already try to logged out and logged in to my gmail account in Firefox, use the DisplayUnlockCaptcha, and allowed less secure apps to access my emails. But none of this works.

In case the problem was thank Thunderbird was connecting too often, I also gave it one night, and tried again this morning, but no luck. I can access my email in the web, and Android gmail app, but not Thunderbird.

Are there any other solutions to this issue?

I've finally found the solution after adding another account in Thunderbird with the same email.

My original account was set to use "Normal Password" as the Authentication method, and this worked fine, until I changed password. But after adding the new account, I noticed gmail used "OAuth2" instead.

Changing from "Normal Password" to "OAuth2" in Server Settings->Authentication Method fixed the issue.

SMTP Outgoing Server must also be changed to OAuth2.
