whenever I click on an Ebay item which has been sent to me as an Ebay e-mail to my Outlook Express e-mail programme I go to Ebay within Firefox but the top right hand corner of page (the one with the three option - minimize, maximise or shut down) is a black rectangle. The options still work if the appropriate spot is clicked. Its just annoying. Going into Firefox by clickking the icon works just fine. Any answers to this phenomenon?

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.

It may also be the option that auto hides the toolbar.

Try to cutomize the toolbar How to Customize Toolbars to always show that bar.
