i am a new user of firefox and selected it to securely access some websites. I followed the instructions to set firefox as my default browser but the search bar still says" search with google or enter address " and it shows google as the web browser , When i click the dropdown menu firefox is not an option . How do i set this so firefox is the browser ? i am using windows 11 .Thanks in advance.

Hello! I have used Thunderbird for many years. Lately, it waits much too long to prompt compacting all accounts. When "Compact all folders when it will save over ..." is set down to 1MB total, it still does not prompt until it has to clear 30 or 40 MB.

It didn't do this in the past, prompting me every 2 or 3 days at higher settings. So, I'm curious if this is "normal" now and I need to manually compact, or if there is a problem with 'Account Settings > Disk Space > Compact all folders' ... ?

How do I turn the private windows off. I constantly have notifications for it. When I open Mozilla, it's in dark mode and I keep having to go to the regular screen!!! And when i go to different web sites and pages, i get a screen that asks me about location! I don't want to approve it every single time I do something! It's so frustrating!! Please help me! I hope I made some sort of sense and you understand what I'm talking about!!! Thank you so much for your time! Anne-Lise
