A commercial ad appears in a drop down window on my FF browser, why?

I noticed that as of today, every now and then, a drop down commercial ad (with voice) appears on my FF browser screen. This has never happened before. I've run a Windows Defender, and Microsoft Safety Scan. The problem continues.

I just posted the above, and it happened again. I managed to grab this info from the window:

hello teda, probably one of your extensions is adware - try to disable/remove the ones you don't need or that may be suspicious.

Disable or remove Add-ons

Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page
