I downloaded the current version of FireFox, installed but it wont run on my Dell Inspiron 17" laptop in Windows 8 32 bit. When I forst install it it starts up, then crashes, and wont open again?

hello ddibbern, windows 8 is not yet listed as a supported OS at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox.../system-requirements/. though you're likely able to install & run firefox, there will be lots of stability issues and other quirks since there's still quite a bit of integration work necessary to get firefox released on windows 8.
