Find Highlight colour has changed from (visible) yellow to (almost invisible) pink on white, why?

I use the (Ctrl-F) Find feature quite often and also Highlight all. The Highlight colour has changed from very visible bright yellow to almost invisible magenta letter on white background. I don't know if I have accidentally done this or there has been a Firefox change. Either way I find it nearly useless and would like to reinstate the yellow highlight. Thank you

What are your default background color settings?
Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Colors

With the default of text color black and background color white you should get a highlight all text color of white on a magenta background. If there is a dark background then those colors might get swapped to ensure sufficient contrast, but may not read well.

Dear Cor-el Thanks for this. What you describe is what is happening now ...and you're right, the opposite, magenta on white, is worse. I see I am nt alone in this as the point is also made in the discussion indicated. Is there any way of changing it to black on yellow?

Cheers Robert
