I need to download an update from Corel but it admonishes me that

"Note regarding Download Manager software: If you are using special "download manager" software (other than Corel's) you will not be able to download the trial versions of Corel's products. Please disable any download manager you may be running prior to attempting a trial download."

I am using Firefox 3.6.10 and the Firefox download manager. How can I disable it until I get my download from Corel and then re-enable it after completing the download using Corel's download manager?

That article is probably referring to third-party download managers. The built-in download manager can not be disabled. If you were able to disable it you would not be able to download anything with Firefox.

It may be that the site does not fully support Firefox, if you are having problems downloading files from that site try using Internet Explorer to see if that works.
