Firefox 3.6.7 severs my Internet connectivity

My system runs Windows 7. When Firefox 3.6.6 or 3.6.7 automatically downloads and my system restarts, my Internet connection is severed. I cannot restore it without doing a system-restore to before the new version was installed.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

netsh reset doesnt work
