I can't get Thunderbird to go due to password problems

Mt T/B was working ok, then for no apparent reason I can not get my emails nor sent them. It tells me to go to configuration settings. When I get to settings and look for passwords. and view passwords, my main email address is not there; others are, along with their passwords
