re: Thunderbird sent and draft folder updates slowly Hello, My sent Email folder does not get up dated for several minutes or longer (days?) after I send and email. Sometimes I get a error that the connections times out. I have no such problem with my K-9 Mail app on my Android phone. This leads me to believe that it is not an email server issue. Thoughts on resolving the issue? Thank you for your help. Cheers, Dave

There may be more involved than the email server. Your phone is probably accessing via a cell tower and your PC is probably accessing differently. Further, your PC may be dealing with firewall or antivirus as part of the process. That your messages sometimes take days to resolve indicates a serious network issue.

I know nothing of Macs, but all I can assume is that something running on the Mac is interfering. Good luck
