I cannot find contact on Thunderbird for Android

Thunderbird looks up contacts from your default android contacts app such as google contacts. 1. Grant the app permission to read your contacts data. 2. Add a contact name and email address to your contacts app. 3. Open the compose screen in Thunderbird for android. 4. Tap the three dot menu > add from contacts. Note: The "Add from contacts" option is not visible until permissions have been granted. See screen shots.
