I have aol/verizon (personal), office365 (godaddy is website hostand email client) and gmail email accounts. Since I can't stand microsoft and aol, what can I do to switch these email accounts to using Thunderbird exclusively and get the aol and office365 out of the picture? Also, does TB work on Iphones? Do the iphone settings override my windows desktop settings or vice versa?

Just signed up this week so please provide an answer asap.

Thanks Tom Burnett

I would add the gmail accounts as IMAP to TB and then in gmail webmail settings have gmail fetch mail from the AOL and O365 accounts. You could add AOL/Verizon and godaddy accounts to TB (instructions for Verizon are numerous on this forum; use app password created on AOL site), but you might have issues adding the O365 account.

TB is for Windows, OS X and Linux only, but if you set up accounts as IMAP on other devices, phones or computers, with any mail apps, the mail will be synced across all devices including accounts in TB.
