I hate hate hate that firefox changed my search box. I've added the google search box at the top right hand page but I hate that too. Please tell me how to return to the google search box in the middle of the page rather than have to use the address bar or top right search box thanks

Hello,

I believe you would rather use the middle search feature. Recently this has been hidden. To bring it back, you will need an about:config tweak.

WARNING from the moderator team: Changing Firefox pref from the about:config page can sometimes break Firefox or cause strange behavior. You should only do this if you know what you're doing.

Please read Firefox Advanced Customization and Configuration Options to learn more.

If you would like to use the middle search bar, please set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false
