Why do I have to allow cookies to sign in with Mozilla support from my firefox browser

I never had to before-reloaded firefox moving it to drive c(windows drive) instead of my data drive to solve the inability to open links in thunderbird. Also why does Nvidia open an nvcache(4 files) in my temp folder every time I use firefox(v50+)-Update-cookie problem is no more I can sign in fine and next question I posted covers the Nvidia problem better-so please ignore this question. Sorry
