I don't use McAfee. I recently downloaded Adobe Reader and it appears it comes with. How do I get rid of these constant pop up messages that appear to come from "Mozilla Firefox"?

Remove any push notification permissions for unwanted sites.

I assume that Firefox is the default browser and that McAfee tries open a specific webpage that may not exist in the default browser. Did you check the installed programs in Windows to see if there is anything about McAfee installed ?
