Hi,

After Firefox crashed I clicked Start New Session by mistake. I've managed to find the backup file that contains my browsing session but I don't know how to 'upload' it to Firefox... I've tried renaming it sessionstore.jsonlz4 but to no avail.

There is a sessionstore.jsonlz4 in the profile folder

within the sessionstorebackups folder in the profile folder there are:

previous.jsonlz4 upgrade.jsonlz4.(long series of numbers)

How can I go about this?

I had many jobs tabbed so it's super important to me that I recover them

Thanks so much for your help!!

Hi, seems no one wants to touch this one. What do you mean upload to Firefox ? You can not upload you Sync if that is what you are doing.

Firefox Volunteer Support provides information for Sync. We do not have access to the data nor can we do anything about your data.

This is all I have on Sync :

There is contact info in this and yes do have to create a account and wait : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-firefox-sync-verification-email-faq

For the files your looking at : PROFILES

fyi for the future :

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
