since installing Windows 10 - sometimes Firefox opens, most times it will not. how can i fix this?

I prefer using Mozilla Firefox. Since installing Windows 10 - opening up firefox is hit and miss. I open up fine in the morning, shut down, and later do some more work on computer, but firefox will not open again?? Very frustrating!!

Were you opening Firefox normally, shortcut, or what?

As a test, disable your protection programs.

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File > Exit
  • Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File > Quit

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift (Mac: Options) key to see if that works.

Thanks guys - some of this stuff is a little over my head. Will not use Mozilla or just take it to the computer man and pay.
