print preview is not working in firefox on either my desktop or laptop. recently upgraded both to windows 8.1. not sure if this is the cause. can't seem to fix.

Print preview works fine from internet explorer, but I am used to using firefox. Have tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling. Have googled the problem and tried numerous things to no avail. Is very frustrating.

I might first recommend to clean up the extra installs of Adobe flash player in the about:addons page. There are three outdated plugins that may cause security issues.

Next, please try the following:

  • Do you have a pdf reader installed?
  • In your application settings see if there is a program listed as a default reader.
