Remove blank space below tabs
There is a persistant of blank bar below my tab bar. Unable to remove through customization.

Did the address bar and "3-bar" menu button used to be in that space before you moved them to the menu bar? Are you using the Classic Theme Restorer extension?
If Yes and Yes, I think you need to find the checkbox in CTR's options to suppress the Navigation Toolbar since there is no built-in way to suppress it after removing the icons.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
