I have a home-grown Home Automation system. I use a web interface that allows me to send some commands to my HA system through a web browser. The web server is an Apache server sitting on a machine inside my network.
Suddenly, I can no longer use my phone to control the system (to turn off all the lights once I am in bed). I tracked the issue down to a refusal of Firefox to go to a 192.168.1.x address.
Do I need to abandon Firefox or can this issue be resolved peacefully?

Given it already has the "Query all packages" permission (I also wonder why it needs that), does this mean it can now delete all my apps? Why does it need this as I'm at a loss to understand the necessity for a web browser to need this permission.
