When following the instruction to sync bookmarks on Android phone it leads me to items that are not there. Open Firefox mobile on phone. Ok. Hit the 3 dots drop down. Ok. Choose sync and save. Not there? I click my email and it shows sync. I click that and it shows the last time I sync my phone. 0 minutes. Ok. It shows a QR code to scan from the Firefox app. It instructs to click ready to scan. That's not there either. If instructions lead you down paths that are not present, the instructions are useless. Anyone else having this experience? Thanks..........

Firefox version: 139.0.4 (64-bit) OS: Windows 11

I have been having issues where Firefox tab will just crash out for no reason it appears and it happens at random times and once the tab start to crash, and I restore it, it will crash again and again. The only way tog et out of the loop is to restart Firefox.

I have tried: Refreshing/Reset, Clearing Cache and History removing all themes, disabling extensions, disabling my anti virus. Turning off hardware acceleration didn't make any different.

I currently have 2 extensions enabled: uBlock Origin 1.64.0 and Bitwarden Password Manager 2025.5.0

In the about:Crashes I have reported them all and they seem to have the same type of reasons in the Raw data/Minidump which are: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ

Any help as to what to try next?

Why on earth would you remove the ability to select move multiple tabs anywhere in an open window browser???? Until recently, I could select the first and last tab, hold shift and move them anywhere I chose. Now that feature doesn't work at all. It duplicates one tab or I'm given a choice to move to the front or last of all open tabs! Please give me the feature back!!1

Hello! I am an avid user of firefox (especially with adblockers) on a windows 11 PC. Unfortunately, I have recently been experiencing an issue where when I attempt to open firefox, a window will open for a split second before instantly closing again. My PC is up to date, I have tried refreshing firefox and doing a clean install, but cannot seem to overcome the issue, or even open it in safe mode. Does anyone have any advice? Hi, Once last week I had Firefox crash, like quite literally the window I had open just closed abruptly. Tried doing the refresh using the setup wizard and it did not help. Then I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times. Each time it'll open up like new, and within 10 minutes the window closes randomly and then Firefox doesn't launch anymore on my laptop. No error message, just does not launch whether I try to from taskbar or Home or even run as administrator. Seemingly random I've been using Firefox for months and it just started doing this last week.

With vertical tabs and expand on hover, clicking on the X box rarely closes the tab. Sometimes I have success if the pointer is on the left or right line of the box. Not having luck on the center of the box. Has been true for several weeks. With hover off, clicking the X works fine. I am running Windows 11.

I’m encountering a strange issue with Firefox. While playing YouTube videos at very low quality (144p) just to listen to music, my GPU usage spikes to 100%. This happens even when the video is not fullscreen and there’s minimal visual content.

System Info:

   Firefox Version: 140.0.2 (64-bit)

   Operating System: Windows 11 

   CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700F (no integrated GPU)

   GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE

   GPU Driver Version: AMD Adrenalin 25.6.1 

The issue goes away when I disable hardware acceleration in Firefox settings, but I’d prefer to leave it enabled for better performance elsewhere.

Is this a known issue with AMD GPUs or is there something else I can try to reduce GPU usage during playback?

First of all, if you really want to help people, then offer phone or at least chat support -- not bots!

Second, I just uninstalled Firefox for the second time because of problems with connectivity and installing bookmarks

The first time was a problem with the bookmarks and again I had a problem, not with installing them but installing too many -- each imported bookmark installed seven times!

Also, I was having problems loading pages.

You really think people want to spend days rummaging through FAQs to find an answer? You need to provide some good support if you want to survive.

this is the latest crash report. had 19 crashes in about 1 hour. i have noticed when i put stress on my pc IE playing a game the crashes are less. i have 64g ram i9 14900k cpu. disabled all extenstions have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox but nothing im doing seems to help.

any help would be great.

hey, I update my laptop windows, after updates when it restarted I have signed in to my account but bookmarks wasn't recovered. It was totally gone. I want my bookmarks back it is really important to me.

Not sure if this is a silly question to ask, but I've noticed that when I use browser Instagram on Firefox it displays emoticons as emojis. For example if I type "<3" (less than 3) it'll display a heart emoji. It doesn't actually convert it In the message though, my friends say it sends what I type.

I'm just wondering why this is happening and how to stop it, I've checked settings for everything and cannot find anything about it. Thank you in advance.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is broken”.

I shop on several websites, and the customer review section does not appear on the product pages. Thinking extensions may be to blame, I tried opening those particular websites in a new private window. But I still was unable to see the reviews. It works fine on Edge. Is there any way to fix this?

The instruction FireFox provided state that I should go to the chrome menu, i.e., the three dots. From there, FireFox instructed me to go to the passwords and autofill option, and that once I select the passwords and autofill option a link to download the passwords will appear. No link to download the passwords appeared. How do I move my passwords from chrome to FireFox?

just setting up new PC . I have been using firefox for many years across a dozen different devices . Usually I dont have problems but firefox on this pc is not working correctly
