Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . Thanks.

Opening PDFs automatically with Firefox and, without any changes I might make, saving them with the download function in Firefox, actually ruins the functionality and data entry function of that file. Specifically this happens with PDF files downloaded from the (not all that amusing) PDFs from the FINCEN, (US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). I do not see why and how Firefox thinks it is allowed to change files that are simply downloaded and saved on Firefox.

In other words, it seems that Firefox strips away certain "permissions" and/or "functions" (like built-in lookup, menu or choice boxes). This means that the file so downloaded via Firefox can no longer be used to properly fill in data, or to look up and choose data items within the file. (I see many times that ANYTHING having to do with "permissions" tends to be an intractable and unsolvable problem for software makers & experts, so, if you do not know right away how to solve the problem, it will probably take you several years to figure this out.)

The PDF in question is created by a government agency. If you have ever dealt with a government agency, then you know that they act sort of like Adobe or Microsoft: "They don't respond, or they do respond & say they do not understand, and if they understand, they are either unwilling or unable to fix the problem."

If there is a switch or option within Firefox, which lets me tell Firefox "Save this file exactly like it is received, nothing added or removed!", that would be nice. I just have not found such an option yet, and it would be nice if it might get provided someday.

I will share my browser data, but I am sort of convinced that a detailed question like mine will not be addressed within that shared data.

Hello Firefox Community,

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my website, https://www.hostgrap.com.

When I visit the site using Firefox, I get the following error:

Bad gateway Error code 502 Visit cloudflare.com for more information. 2025-05-14 04:02:47 UTC

Browser: Working Cloudflare: Working Host: Error

However, the same website works perfectly fine on other browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried in Firefox:

Cleared cache and cookies Disabled all extensions Cleared DNS and HTTP cache via about:networking Checked proxy settings (set to system default) Tried Private Window Flushed system DNS Updated Firefox to the latest version

None of the above resolved the issue. The error appears consistently only in Firefox. I’m using Cloudflare for DNS and reverse proxy, and the server is working as expected for all other users/browsers.

Additional Info:

OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language Firefox Version: 138.0.3

This issue happens even after disabling all add-ons

No custom rules in Cloudflare specifically targeting Firefox or its user agent

Is there something Firefox-specific that could be triggering this behavior with Cloudflare or my server?

Thanks in advance!

I have a program which I use exclusively on Firefox and until a few days ago I could open the rtf files which I downloaded on MS Word. Suddenly they won't open. I was told to go to the settings >In Firefox Settings>General, under the “Files and Applications” section, be sure that RTF files are set to “Open in Word” There is no rtf listed there as a file type. Did something get changed recently? This is a massive problem for me. I really hope you can help. Thank you

Hi I have mozilla running as primary for my imac and my 2007 macbook pro that is dying. I've just got a macbook air to replace the macbook.

The imac and macbook pro share th account and passwords just fine. I try to put the correct password into the air, it says incorrect password.

Fine. I do a whole 2 step authentication for resetting the password. Sign in on air. Now macbook pro is saying incorrect password. Fine. Put the same password in, it now says incorrect password.

Every time I change the password on the account, one of ht computers accepts it, the other does not.

I realy just need 2007 to work long enough to get the junk I need off it, and then it will be retired. Fine. But I cannot get the macs to all agree that the password for mozilla is the password-- even tho it's the correct password, says incorrect.

I haven't checked the imac, but knowing my luck it will now say i'm logged out cos incorrect password.

All I want is to sync the mozilla account for all three computers (before I reset this 2007 one and then recycle it).

Help would be appreciated for this luddite. thank you!

Recently I've noted that tabs on my browser move from where I had them all the way to the far right end of the tabs list, and it happens at random. There'll be times when I click on another tab while listening to music or a video on another only to find the tab I was listening to had moved when I go to click back on it. Without fail, I've found these tabs at the far right end of the set of tabs, and I need to know how to put a stop to this. It's inconvenient, and annoying in extreme. This has to be due to a recent update, because up til a couple months ago, this didn't happen at all. If there's a setting that I can change in about:config, I would like to know about it, because you can bet I'll disable this feature.

140.0.2 (64-bit) Windows MSIX package mozilla-MSIX-1.0 This one has access to ChatGPT, among other AI chatbots. The version above does not mention any AI products.

140.0.2 (64-bit) NO Mention of MSIX NO AI chatbots as far as I can find.

Each wants to be the default, and it doesn't cause a problem unless you try to open the not-default. Then you can either select the not-default to be the default, or NOT. Doesn't matter, as far as I can determine there is no loss of functionality whether default or not-default in either version.

However, it's a bit annoying to have two product with the same version number and different properties.

Notice, this looks like a problem that was solved earlier. But that solution involved installing V140.0.2, obviously that won't work for me.

I await your wisdom---

Hello. My untouched hyperlinks changed their color from darker blue to lighter. Visited hyperlinks remain as they always were, as far as I can tell.

This video has the color scheme I'm used to: https://youtu.be/V7gfuh-dRHM?si=uS3_PlVUdhu-48Kj

My colors changed, seemingly randomly, to the attached screenshot

Another thing worth mentioning is that if I open a new private window, the colors are what I'm used to.

What can I do to revert the change? How could this happen?
