like..i dont mind ads like my bank , amazon, etc. but ads that just come up on front of browser..i dont understand where they come from but ii used to delete them but cant now!!!!!!!!! arrrrrgh

Today when I powered on my pc and opened up firefox all tabs were lost.

I have the option to retain tabs when opened up enabled.

I could not find them anywhere, so I had to search opened tabs from the other synced devices and click on each of them, and create again all the tab groups.

This is a big problem if randomly all the tabs can get lost, am I doing something wrong?

Another thing : I thought that when I create groups of tabs, and save them I coul retrieve them across all my synced devices, but the other devices can not see those groups, is this a normal behaviour?

Would there be any way to restore my bookmark data if I did not store the data without a profile?

I was using Firefox on Windows without a Mozilla account, and one of the programs shut down my Firefox in order to operate. Then I discovered that Firefox had been completely reset, including bookmarks and all the browser settings.

I desperately need my bookmark data but I cannot think of a way to recover them. Would there be any technical support I could get?

I received a how to from this community.. I've done all of your suggestions and I am still trying to remove cache from firefox settings. See attachment.

After I clear out my cache the remaining cache always the same. 454.. I'm wondering..do I need to dig a little deeper. Interesting after doing a scan with a virus program it was gone.. But now it is back even if I scan it the cache is still there.

I would like to be able to remove it from my computer. I did uninstall firefox and reinstalled it and for a while it was gone, then it came back.

Firefox is a favorite browser but at this point I'm thinking of just using Safari.

Please help me get to the bottom of this.

Dear Firefox China Team, After reinstalling Windows on 2025-07-22 and installing I signed in with the same Firefox Account (this one). Unfortunately: • No bookmarks, passwords, history or extensions were restored. • I believe “Sync” was enabled before the reinstall with all data types selected. • The UI only shows “Syncing…” but no data appears. Please help:

   Check whether any sync data exists for this UID.
   • If yes, explain why it is not downloading and provide recovery steps.
   • If no, supply official evidence (e.g., server-side log) showing zero data.
   If my data (bookmarks, logins.json/key4.db, form history, add-ons) is on your servers, kindly export it to me in an encrypted archive or provide a temporary secure download link.
   Advise how to prevent this “appears-to-be-synced but actually not” scenario in the future (mandatory manual backup, verification methods, etc.).

Troubleshooting already done: – Confirmed same account, same email. – Reset services.sync.* prefs to default. – Manually triggered sync; about:sync-log shows no error codes. – Created a fresh profile; still empty. my work demands 4 big areas or bussines. How can I save and work in FF Windows by business?

Example: Cargo Containers, I want to have a window with 3 websites companies offering services, 3 webs offering used containers Meat

window with 6-8 webs offering boxes, sertting them in a distance from warehouse criteria window with 8-10 frozen window with 8-10 fresh never freezed b4

etc etc and save those windows without having to make 6

is there anyway? or i need to create those windows and keep them always open ?

Any Ideas what is going on? About July 21st, 2025 I started noticing with a couple of browser tabs open, a new tab opens autonomously and flitters in the new tab name area, what "looks like a TagID", then closes by itself. I define "looks like a TagID" as something that looks like a tag at end of article link in popular newsletters I see, and appears in the url bar of the linked article.

The occurrence of the new tab happens when I open the browser, within 1 minute and occurs randomly during the session, perhaps every 20 minutes.

My first suspect/assumption is I am always signed into Mozilla when I open Firefox 141.0 (64 bit), processing an update now, Aug 5 2025. I have subscriptions to VPN and Monitor and I have sync (passwords and bookmarks) with my mobile instance of Android Samsung Galaxy phone.

My Desktop is set up as Windows 11 pro with one employer InTune acount for Microsoft but I limit that work to Edge browser.

I'm trying to access a local web application (GoPhish) running at https://127.0.0.1:3333 on Kali Linux. Firefox is showing a security warning and won't let me access the site . How can l bypass this warning safely, or add an exception for local addresses with self-singned certificates?

I have few website on main screen for quick access. Oneof them twitch.tv. But only for this website somehow I need to click it 2 times to open the website (only when opening browser first time for the day). For all rest it's enough to do 1 click.

I have a problem with minimizing the Firefox window on a MacBook (M1, 2020, Tahoe26, FF 141.0.2 (aarch64). After launching the browser, using Command+M for the first time works and the window moves to the taskbar normally. When the FF window returns, the shortcut stops working and the Command+M Thumbnail option becomes grayed out. It doesn't matter if FF is in fullscreen mode or not - the shortcut only works the first time. ____________ Cześć. Po uruchomieniu przeglądarki, za pierwszym razem użyciu Command+M skrót działa i okno normalnie przechodzi do paska. Po powrocie okna FF, skrót przestaje działać, a opcja Miniaturka Command M staje się nieaktywna. Nie ma znaczenia, czy FF jest w trybie pełnoekranowym, czy nie - skrót działa tylko pierwszy raz.

The autocomplete function on my Firefox is not working. When I go to any web site where I have to type in my email address Firefox does not offer to complete my email address as I start typing it.

Yes, I have my settings activated at Privacy&Security > Autofill > Save and Fill Addresses > Saved addresses with all my information including my email address.

The autofill (autocomplete) function does not work even when I try to log into https://accounts.firefox.com/oauth!

All I want is for Firefox to offer to complete my email address when I start typing it ANYWHERE. Please help me with this. Thank you.

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.epos.mp.gov.in. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.
