When I try to manually delete all my browsing history from the browsing history icon, firefox locks up and nothing happens until I click my mouse button and I get the message box stating that Firefox is not responding and it gives me two choices, close the program or wait for firefox to respond-

- However I think it may be to do with a recent bookmark entry stored in the bookmarks bar?? The website is a national UK hardware store and it seems to open OK. I cannot be sure but I think the problem started after I added this bookmark. It is a real nuisance and I have had to switch to Edge. Please advise how I might fix the problem.

Hi my firefox just updated to version 153.0.1 on all 5 family computers some running win 11 and some win 10 and 2 win 11 pro. now we all experience firefox crashing and not loading pages. When we go to settings and select contact support it says the system crashed. Is there a way to roll back to a version that works without crashing without have to revert to goggle chrome or edge? regards Mal

I'm using Windows 11 and I've turned off graphics acceleration, ensured that the drivers for Firefox and my graphics are all updated, and turned off all extensions, plug-ins, and themes, I've cleared the cache, and it still keeps freezing and crashing within minutes of opening the browser. I don't even have to go to a resource heavywebsite to get it to crash, just the Google homepage or any other simple site. And in task manager, I can see that it's using increasing memory until it crashes, but I don't understand why. It never used to do this until yesterday. Anybody have any ideas?

Ever since latest update (153.0 (64 bits) everything crash. I can open Firefox, but as soon as I enter a website, regardless of what it is, it won't load.

If i try to close the app, there's always a process that keeps running. It can't close. And if I try to force it it says that access is refused.

After that I keep receiving these errors that Firefox is already open and I need to close the last process of Firefox to continue but even if I say to close, it keeps repeating until my PC finally crash.

Everything was working 100% until Firefox updated itself. No Windows update nothing.

I can't even send crash report since it does the same error.

Firefox keeps shutting down and it will open up when I tap on the icon. I have to reload it to make it work, It seems like I have to do this everytime I shut the pc.

about every 15 to 20 minutes I hear a tone from the speaker and then Firefox crashes, on some occasions another msg box briefly appears saying something about Microsoft windows but then it disappears before it can be read fully.

Firefox frequently and continuously force-closes the entire program on me, multiple times a day. I have tried updating my computer, checking for Firefox updates, and any extension updates that could be affecting this. HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS STOP?
