I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. I accidently deleted my account wendev@casema.nl So i wanted to add this account again but cannot because a password is required. How can I solve this. Solution for thsi problem is very much appreciated.

I am able to style tasks that are either completed/overdue/inprogress in userChrome.css . But so far I have not found a way to style canceled tasks.

What does the following error message mean and how to correct it. "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded (AUTH) invalid credentials"

I'm on the latest FF 140.0.1 on Linux and I adore tab groups, I'm using it more and more to organize my browser windows. I am using the default (horizontal) tab group layout. Because I have a lot of tabs in the window, I collapse each existing tab group and sort tabs between tab groups.

I can move a tab into an expanded tab group with drag and drop. But I tried dragging and dropping a tab onto a collapsed tab group, even holding it over the collapsed tab group to see if that would work. Nothing seems to register, is it possible?

I would like to move a tab by drag and drop without expanding the collapsed tab group and move the window focus to the next tab. This would save time when I am organizing tabs!

The alternative is to Add a tab to a collapsed tab group, which also expands it and consumes horizontal real estate, forcing me to scroll (further) to return where I was organizing tabs. So I collapse the newly expanded tab group, scroll back to the next tab I want to organize into a different tab group, and repeat but this causes a lot of scrolling navigation to my workflow. It makes complete sense and I really like using menu navigation to add tabs to a specific group because it is discreet and I wish I could move tabs with the same method.

I searched Settings > Tabs and then about:config for browser.tabs.groups.* (and then every preference with tab in it) and couldn't find anything that made sense to me.

Hello, please, is there already some extension that removes [EXTERNAL] from subject added to incoming e-mails in some corporations using MS Exchange Server for mails? It's pointless and annoying.

Hey, I have recently installed Zen Browser because of a friend's suggestion. Although I really loved the fresh vibe of the Browser in comparison to what I was accustomed of which is Chrome. But after some initial hassle of setting up the browser I figured one thing that although I have a 100Hz external monitor and a 90Hz Panel on the Laptop the Webpages while scrolling it felt that it was somewhere 45-60Hz. I tried the UFO Test as well but there I was getting 100Hz but whenever I visited any website (say LinkedIn or even Youtube) the page seem very very laggy and it made me switch back to Chrome (Honestly I wanted to stay on Zen only) but the problem forced me to switch back. I understand that the browser is still in its Beta Phase but still the experience I had it was not good. Hope I can get some resolution and hop back to Zen as I really want to.

PS - I have tried all the fixes from reddit pages, Hardware Acceleration, Smooth Scrolling, etc. none works.

Alternative search engines no longer appear when typing the stasrt of a search. Am able to set alternative search engine in settings but need to go back to settings if I want to use another one. This happened after a recent update - perhaps as much as a week ago.

On a brand new powerful PC just signed in and there's no Add ons showing on this device.

I have two other devices where i have no issues, but this one...

What can i do?

Firefox instructions say go to Notifications on Privacy and Security, but Privacy and Security on my Firefox no longer has a Notifications link. The sfgate site itself refused to let me into its settings. Where on Firefox do I block it?
