Downloaded Firefox setup exe file will not run. When i choose to run as current user nothing happens, it just does not open the setup screen.

Hello janetrhyder, any luck if you try from the next :

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/23.0.1/win32/

also, disable firewall and every security software for a while and try to install firefox.

You can also try to run the Firefox installer as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator).
