i was using firefox till this week then it disapeared why

i was copying a dvd cover in infanview

also copying a cd 

 i did a system restore

i did a scan incase of a virus 

after this i couldnt get on the net firefox wouldnt open up so i had to use internet explorer

System restore probably killed Firefox. Reinstall it.
