I keep having to download the latest version of firefox. Each time I bring up a screen it reads "You're not on the latest version of firefox, upgrade today to get the best of the web."

Chosen solution

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Firefox/3.6.7 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C) = not the latest version

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.extra.firefox
Right-click that preference and select Reset
Then restart Firefox

When I right-clicked the correct filter, reset was not highlighted for me to select.
