Holding your finger down on text will create an initial selection and highlight the text. You'll also see handles appear that allow you to resize your selection. Simply tapping again anywhere on the selection will copy the text to the clipboard; you'll see the notice at the bottom of the browser: "Text copied to clipboard.".
